How is CAVE different from Vivino?
Vivino is built first on its community’s ratings, and it sells wine. CAVE is a personal sommelier: it learns your palate through guided tasting and helps you choose the bottle — on a restaurant list, on a shop shelf or in your cellar — by your taste, not an average rating. Are my places public?
Your address book is visible only to your friends. The places themselves — a wine shop, a wine bar — are listed in CAVE’s shared directory; what you keep of them stays between you and your friends.
